An event every week that begins at 12:45 pm on Thursday, repeating until June 25, 2020
GIRLS IN TROUBLE
SPRING SEMESTER: March 19th – May 28th, 2020
Based on the Girls in Trouble curriculum, a project by Alicia Jo Rabins, with its Bible based indie-folk song cycle of the same name, we will follow individual women through their stories in the Torah. Each week we will engage with Torah text and Alicia’s songs, to consider the story’s relevance to our own lives and to generate our own creative interpretations. Participants bring a brown bag lunch. Coffee and copies of the text will be provided. You are welcome to come to any class session. Come early for lunch. The class starts at 12:45 pm.
