Comfort Cases is an organization that provides backpacks with essential items to children entering foster care so that they don’t need to carry their belongings in trash bags. Bet Aviv has supported them in the past and we are again planning to support them this year.

On June 4, 2026, we are looking for 15 volunteers to go to Comfort Cases headquarters in Gaithersburg, MD for a 2 hour commitment. We will be there from 10AM to 12 noon; we may be packing the cases or doing anything that they need us to do during that period of time.

We will leave from OMI around 9AM and return by 1PM. If you are interested in volunteering on this date, please contact Terri Clayman at tclayman1@verizon.net.
