700 Thanksgiving Baskets

We are 58 days away from Thanksgiving. Last year, collectively we were able to be a tremendous blessing to more than 700 families here in Howard County through our Thanksgiving Holiday Food Outreach program.

This year, we would like to provide 700 Thanksgiving Baskets for our community as well. To achieve this goal, we need to raise $25,000. Yet, while the amount seems large, it’s a small token when we all come together to give. Last year, we raised just over $20,000. In 2021, we raised more than $23,000. We have done it before and we will do it again with your support.

If you are willing, please share this video with your congregation and make a few announcements about our OMI Thanksgiving Food for Families Outreach. We are asking for monetary contributions of $85.00 from all willing congregants within the Oakland Mills Interfaith Center.

Checks can be made out to Columbia Baptist Fellowship. In the memo section of your check, please write food for families. Donations can also be made online at https://abundant.co/columbiabaptistfello/give on the top right, please tap the dropdown menu and select Food for Families under the fund section. Congregations can also take up a special collection and write one check to CBF for food for families.

Our Thanksgiving food distribution will be held on Tuesday, November 21 at the Oakland  Mills Interfaith Center from 10:00 am- 5:30 pm.
