VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

Volunteer NOW for an Hour, Help Collect Food For Homeless  (Grassroots’ Day Center Pantry)

Help staff the Sat. October 26, 2019 canned goods collection at Hickory Ridge Giant.

Duties:hand out shopping lists, thank donors leaving cans, answer questions re Day Center & Grassroots’ multi-services (Note: we have great “Impact” sheets to make this easy!).  Can stand or sit.  

 Volunteers needed for 1-hr. shifts:  8:30am -4:00 pm.  

 Sheltered collection in case of inclement weather; toilets inside Giant; seated “positions” available too.   

 Our last food collection at Hickory Ridge Giant collected over  800 lbs. of canned goods!
