Recipes
CREAMY HUMMUS
INGREDIENT LIST:
1 15oz can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
½ teaspoon baking soda
Juice of 2 lemons (or more to taste)
1 medium clove garlic, roughly cut
½ teaspoon sea salt (or more to taste)
½ cup TAHINI
2-4 tablespoons iced water
½ teaspoon cumin
1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
Optional garnishes – olive oil, zhoug, sumac, paprika, parsley or whatever you put on your hummus!
KITCHEN EQUIPMENT:
Stove
Saucepan
Mesh strainer
Faucet with water
Food Processor or Blender
Spoons
Spatula
Container to store Hummus in Fridge
TAHINA BREAKFAST SHAKE
INGREDIENT LIST:
1 banana – fresh or frozen (frozen makes the shake cold)
