” Jewish Cemeteries and Gravestones”
We will explore resources for locating cemeteries and graves; followed by some basics of how to read a tombstone. This will include the standard language and symbols found on Jewish matzevah.
Attendees are encouraged to bring documents and photos to share that they have found in compiling their family history.
Genealogy Club and All Bet Aviv members are welcome.
The Watermark is located at 10001 Windstream Drive, Columbia. If interested in attending, please RSVP to Marlene Bishow. While most of those who expressed interest are beginners, all levels of experience and expertise are welcome. Membership is limited to Bet Aviv members only.
