Randi’s Raffle
Join us in supporting Sharsheret through Randi’s Raffle, a special 50/50 raffle in honor of former Purim Palooza Chair Randi Leshin, of blessed memory.
Randi Leshin was a mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She loved her family, her husband Ricky, and her two boys, Landon and Ilan. She was a strong believer in justice, righting the wrong, and fighting for those who couldn’t fight for themselves. Randi was no stranger to involvement in the Jewish community. Randi was most known for her work with Purim Palooza, for which she served as committee chair for almost 10 years. She strongly believed that Purim Palooza was a way for Howard County Jewish Community families to come together. In 2016, she was named one of the first “People You Should Know” in the Washington Jewish Week, and in 2017 she was honored with the Young Leadership Award from the Jewish Federation of Howard County.
In 2020, Randi was diagnosed with stage II breast cancer. After treatment, she was presented with an all clear. In 2023 it returned as aggressive stage IV metastatic cancer. On February 23, 2023, Randi lost her battle and passed away too soon.
