Volunteer Appreciation and New Member Welcome Shabbat Service

Services on March 30, 2024 will be very special.  Bet Aviv’s first “regular” Shabbat service on a Saturday morning in quite some time will celebrate our volunteers and welcome our new members, all of whom will receive special recognition.  A “light bite” lunch will be served following the service.

In addition to welcoming fourteen new members on March 30, we will be recognizing by name in our program and expressing appreciation for the volunteers who keep Bet Aviv going.  Our goal is to identify each and every volunteer during 2022 and 2023 and have them, along with new members, receive a special blessing from the Rabbi during the service.

Holding the service on Saturday morning responds to a survey of our membership which revealed significant interest in holding an occasional Shabbat service on Saturday morning, especially to accommodate our members who are not comfortable driving in the evening.
