Women’s Issues in the Legislature…and on the Ballot
Delegate Jessica Feldmark will provide an overview of legislation passed by the Maryland General Assembly addressing issues including maternal health, reproductive rights, pay equity, childcare, the Equal Rights Amendment, and more. She will also explain the proposed amendment which will be on our ballot this November to enshrine the right to reproductive freedom in the Maryland Constitution.
There will beample time for discussion, so bring your questions! Snacks will be available … and door prizes!
Now is the time to renew your membership for the 2024/25 year. For those Bet Aviv women who are not yet members, this is a good time to join us. We look forward to providing you with compelling and relevant programs. The focus will be on contributing to our community and enjoying good times together.

The Women of Bet Aviv will be collecting new school supplies at our Women of Bet Aviv Kick Off Event on September 12 in collaboration with Prepare for Success, a program that provides new school supplies for vulnerable students in Howard County.
Collection boxes will be available for supply drop off at the Kick Off Event. These supplies will help our students “prepare for success” during the upcoming school year.
Suggested supplies include (but are not limited to):
* marble composition books
* single subject spiral notebooks
* wide loose leaf paper
* colored pencil packs
* pencils
* high lighters
* glue sticks
If you prefer to write a check, please make the check payable to Community Action Council/PFS. We can collect any checks and turn them in to the Community Action Council.
