On Dec 23, 2025 Bet Aviv celebrated Hanukkah with a dinner, that 90 people attended, followed by a Shabbat service. The Bet Aviv Choir regaled us with songs. Thanks to Michael Gray, who took photos and created this joyous video as a memento. For more Hanukkah photos click here.
On December 7, 2025 Bet Aviv held its Annual Meeting to approve the dues and vote on some bylaw changes. As part of the agenda, we saw a presentation that Linda Feldmesser created to highlight events that took place from Dec 2024 through Nov 2025. Click on the play triangle to start the video.
At our 25th anniversary celebration held on October 15, 2023 at Busboys and Poets in Columbia, we saw a presentation created by Linda Feldmesser that showed highlights of our 25 years.
On March 2, 2013 Flory Jagoda and Susan Gaeta came to Bet Aviv at our Musician in Residence. In this video, Flory looks back on her life and family in Bosnia before the Holocaust, and a musical culture she has helped re-create in the United States. Her commentary intermingles with her songs, performed here with Susan Gaeta one cold 2013 afternoon in Columbia at Bet Aviv.
